Culture shapes how we see.
Design gives it form.

I’m Khalinur Marupova, a brand identity designer and art director based in Los Angeles, originally from Kazakhstan.

Over more than a decade of design and art direction, I’ve developed a practice that moves between cultural research, symbolism, and contemporary visual expression.

Moving between places makes me attentive to what a symbol carries—and how its meaning changes. That perspective shapes every identity I build.

YEZA is where research and intuition meet. From the first concept to a complete visual system, the aim is a clear idea with a distinct presence.

A way of working

Look closely.
Think clearly.
Make with intent.

01 / Research

Understand the context. Read the culture, the people, and the visual language around a brand.

02 / Concept

Find a central idea with enough meaning and clarity to guide the work.

03 / System

Build the relationships between symbol, type, color, image, and composition.

04 / Expression

Carry the idea through packaging, editorial, campaigns, and digital touchpoints.

02 / The practice

From a symbol
to a whole world.

Thoughtful identities, and everything that brings them to life.
